EARPTOPIA FAQ:

Earptopia will run 4–6 October 2024. It will be a “standard” Earp convention with panels, autos, photos, and some fun surprises to be announced!

3 October 2024 is an OPTIONAL ticket add-on day in Didsbury, Alberta! No cast is expected at this private Earptopia optional add-on event, but we’ve got fun things in the works to make it a very special day, so keep this date in mind when you’re making your plans!

Earptopia will be fully contained within the Hyatt Regency Calgary, located in Downtown Calgary, Alberta Canada. Visit our Venue page to learn more about the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

TICKETS FAQ:

All extras are limited quantities, which is why they are extra. We want to make sure whoever gets them feels it was worth it. So be quick on sale day!

You might get a front row seat with Primary Panel seating. Primary Panel seating will be the first three rows center + several seats in the left and right sections. Secondary Panel seating will be the first three rows exterior seats + rows 4-6 center.

NOTE: this, like everything, is subject to change but this is our intention.

Having a bundle does not increase your chance OR elevate your position on the autograph waitlist. The Bundle Auto Line Fast Pass is EXACTLY the same as the A la Carte Auto Fast Pass. Once in the auto room, both passes will be in the same line.
Autographs for many of our guests will require you to sign up for a waitlist at the start of each day; being on the waitlist will not guarantee you an autograph, but it will put you in a queue for an autograph from that guest. By ‘no waitlist required’ we mean that you can tell us whom you want your autograph with, and we will place you in the queue in a position to ensure you get an autograph from that person.
YES. Entrance to the autograph room is based on a waitlist or ‘no waitlist required ticket’. Once you get into the autograph room, you can use your fast pass.
One. Just one. If you have any bundle that already includes a “No Waitlist Required”, you may not purchase, possess, or use another one. If you purchase more than one (either through our ticket bundle or a la carte), we will cancel the second transaction. These are very limited quantities as we want to make sure there are still lots of waitlist slots for everyone.
Sure. Any single ticket holder can have up to one of each of the various a la carte items. Note, however, that the two bundles include many of these a la carte items already. If your ticket/bundle does not include a la carte items you want, you can purchase them. However, if your ticket already includes the a la carte item and you purchase a second of that item, we will cancel and refund that purchase. You cannot transfer them to someone else; as stated, we will cancel and refund that purchase.

Yes, but you MUST notify Earptopia of the resale so that we can update the name of the ticket by emailing tickets@earptopia.com with the following information at least three weeks prior to the start of Earptopia:

Please also check out our Terms and Conditions for reselling. Specifically, “Resale of Credentials is permitted at the sole risk of the buyer and the seller.” and “Selling tickets for more than what was paid for them (including taxes and fees) is strictly prohibited.”

TicketSpice DOES NOT. When you make a selection, it isn’t held for a set period of time while you continue to shop. TicketSpice operates on the premise of first one to complete the purchase gets the item. Our advice is to be decisive and have all your payment info ready to finish the transactions. And remember, while not all items sell out, they often do and quickly.

MEET AND GREETS

Ticket purchase limit is 2. You MUST have a 3 Day Pass to attend. If you have an I Am All In Bundle you DO NOT need to buy a Cast Event M&G ticket as you already have one. Purchases will be cross-checked. Quantities are limited.

Cast members TBD. It is our intention to have as many guests as possible attend this special event. Additional guest announcements will be made as soon as we are able.

Individual ticket holders will be allowed to purchase/attend ONE Meet & Greet each for the following guests:

  • Kat Barrell
  • Dom P-C
  • Melanie Scrofano

Purchases will be cross-checked and names will be verified at the door.

PHOTO OPS

Two adults per op (with one purchased photo op ticket) and up to six adults per op (with three purchased photo op tickets).

Two small children are allowed in addition to the two adults.

Photo Ops are limited in quantity. They will be sold on-line up to a still TBD date, at that point any left over will be sold for cash on site at the con.

The Photo Ops all have specific days and times. There will also be Friday AM / Friday PM ops to ensure all attendees going to Heritage Park can still get photo ops that might be Friday only. A more set schedule TBA. Stay tuned.

Keep an eye out on your inbox for a form to choose Photo Ops that came with bundles. These are photo ops for guests which have been announced.

DIDSBURY DAY

Didsbury Day is an optional ticket add-on day taking place Thursday, 3 October 2024 in the town of Didsbury, Alberta, the filming site of several Wynonna Earp scenes, and will last from from approximately 7:30 am — 6 pm. Multiple designated selfie-spots at key Wynonna Earp locations and entrance into the Wynonna Earp Showcase are just some of the offerings included in this exciting package. As we announce Guests who will be at Earptopia 2024, they will be shared to our website’s Guests page. Guest information is released as soon as it’s available. We will also make announcements on our various social media channels. We anticipate announcements continuing through the summer. We’ll let you know when the list is final.

VENUE FAQ:

One of the best things about the space at the Hyatt is that we are occupying about 95% of all of their conference room space, so that entire floor will basically be ours. In addition, The Hyatt is Rainbow Registered (https://cglcc.ca/programs/rainbow-registered/) meaning it is has passed an Accreditation Program for 2SLGBTQI+ Friendly Spaces. Also, we have asked and the Hyatt has agreed to make rest rooms in the Conference Center area gender neutral. If you have other specific concerns, please reach out to us. Yes! There are many restaurants both sit-down and take-out within walking distance. A more detailed map of options will be coming (or you can google it now!)
Yes. There is a restaurant/bar located in the lobby of the hotel. In addition, we are looking into having cash bars in the convention space so you don’t even have to walk down to the lobby if you don’t want to.

ROOM BLOCK FAQ:

Hyatt has given us a great price of $239 a night for our block. Visit our Venue page for more information and to reserve your room!

We have a large block for 3–7 October Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun nights and a smaller block for 2 October Wed night. However, the hotel will offer the same rate while their supplies last (meaning, they haven’t booked another group) for two days before (so 30 September – 1 October Mon/Tue night) to two days after (8–9 October Mon/Tue night). So, if you plan to attend Didsbury Day on Thursday or want to come to Calgary early or stay late, book early to lock in this rate!

Yes!  Hyatt is offering us a discounted rate of $19 per day.

You can cancel for no charge up until 3 September 2024 (one month before the con). However, on 3 September 24, a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night’s stay plus taxes and applicable fees will be charged to the credit card provided. The deposit will be forfeited if the reservation is cancelled after this date.
We hate answering “we don’t know”, but we don’t know yet. At this point, the Hyatt block is the only room block we have secured. If space fills up quicker than expected, we will absolutely explore another block at a nearby hotel.

Yes. The room rate includes high speed internet in the guest rooms.  (NOTE:  the conference space will also have high speed wireless internet available for free)

VOLUNTEERS FAQ:

Yes! We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated individuals to join our Volunteer team. The application form closed at 12pm ET on Thursday, 15 February, 2024.

We expect to notify the first round of accepted volunteers by 1 March, 2024.

VENDORS FAQ:

Yes! Creatives, we would love to have you! Please apply to be a Vendor at Earptopia 2024! Applications are now open! CLICK HERE to submit and to learn more information.

Our plan is to send the first round of invitations out on 31 March, 2024.

You will have two weeks to secure your vendor table. If you wait beyond that, the table may or may not remain available.
